Dallas Customer Service and Support Team

Jeff Harris CSS ManagerJeff Harris

has been with Sunbelt Material Handling since they opened their doors on September 1, 1987.  Jeff was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and became involved in the forklift industry after graduating from Kimball High School. During his time in the industry, a total of 36 years, Harris has been in a range of positions from being a Service Technician to Used Truck Manager to his current position as the Customer Service and Support Manager. Jeff expanded during an interview about his wealth of experience, “Despite the various ‘hats’ that I have worn over the years, the one constant is that I have always been in customer service. It has always been my nature to take my knowledge of this industry and my mechanical expertise, and help our clients get the most for their money out of their equipment.” Jeff is very privileged to be married to his best friend Michelle with whom he has four sons and three daughters. His forklift industry legacy will live on with two of his four sons following in his footsteps. Besides his devotion to family and career,  Harris is a lifelong “motor head” who loves fast cars and to drag race in his free time.


Chris Davis 

moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth metro in 2003 and has a total of 13 years in the forklift service industry. Davis originally reigns from Kansas City, Missouri. During his interview, Chris elaborated on his viewpoint regarding his role at Sunbelt, “Simply providing personal, trustworthy, accurate advice and recommendations regarding forklift maintenance while maintaining a focus on thorough communication.” He would continue to remark that the greatest way to learn is from the greatest teacher of all; the job itself. “Always be prepared for adverse situations. Embrace them and solve them quickly. Run towards the fire, not away from it or it will surely worsen. Learn and grow from it.” Davis has been happily married to his wife Kelly since 1999 and together they have a four-year-old daughter. In his spare time, Chris enjoys snow skiing, biking, hiking, boating, food and wine along with anything that allows for an active lifestyle.


Mike PetersonMike Peterson CSS Representative

comes from his hometown of Krum, Texas. Mike graduated from the University of North Texas in  1998 with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. He has been involved in the material equipment handling industry for nine years and has worked in multiple different areas during that time. His experience ranges from involvement in both parts and service along with equipment sales roles as well. Peterson was asked about his personal outlook regarding his current position as a CSS representative. His  response, “I focus on providing client solutions that maximize their productivity and decrease downtime for their material handling equipment.” Mike takes a positive outlook on things he sets his mind too. In a personal motivation quote, Peterson said, “If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.”  Peterson still lives a short distance from the house he grew up in with his wife Traci and son Cooper.  His main passion is attending Cooper’s sporting events of soccer, baseball and basketball.


Jordan BrooksJordan Brooks CSS Representative

was born and raised in the suburb Carol Stream right outside of Chicago, Illinois. Brooks would move to Dallas in November of 2013. His parents and rest of his family still live in the Chicago area. Jordan came to Sunbelt following his graduation from Western Michigan University with a degree in Interpersonal Communication and minor in General Business while also playing tight end for the Bronco’s football team. He will be celebrating one year in the forklift service industry this month. When asked about a motivational quote in his interview, Jordan referenced Paul “Bear” Bryant; “It’s not the will to win that matters- everyone has that. It’s the will to prepare to win that matters.” In relation to his professional career, Brooks strives to not only provide superior solutions, but superior customer service as well. “At Sunbelt you learn something new every day and with that you can’t help but grow!” In his free time, Jordan still enjoys remaining active in sports, sports talk and hitting the golf course.


A common thread woven between each of them is their dedication to quality service and overall commitment to the team goal. As individuals, they may not have every possible solution to a challenge, but when working together as a cohesive unit they are able to identify the best solutions for our clients.
